SP Performance rotors are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship, and are guaranteed not to crack for the life of the rotor*. Here is why

Straight Drilled Hole 

A high stress and heat build up area forms at the intersection of the rotor and drilled edge.

Countersunk Hole 

Countersinking increases the external surface area of the hole, thus reducing heat, but still contains edges prone to stress and heat build up.

Radius Hole

The Radius Chamfer increases the hole cooling area thus reducing heat, but still contains sharp edges. 

SP *Sinusoidal Curved Chamfered  Hole             

Absolutely no sharp edges. The smooth design promotes cooling and minimizes stress, reducing the possibility of heat checking while increasing both rotor and pad life.

SP PERFORMANCE ROTOR WARRANTY

SP Performance rotors are warranted to be free of defects in workmanship, and are guaranteed not to crack for the life of the rotor*.
* The life of the rotor is measured by the minimal thickness. Warranty does not apply to worn out rotors.

The warranty must be filed within 30 days of purchase. Save your original receipt. If you have a warranty claim, call us for a return authorization. No returns will be accepted without having the authorization number on the outside of the box. The original receipt of the purchase must be included with the return. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, and that the product was installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. This warranty does not apply to commercial vehicles or vehicles used in racing.

This warranty does not apply to any product, which has been installed improperly or abused, or modified in any way other than the manufacturer’s instruction. SP Performance will not pay for any labor or consequential damages or materials, which may be necessary for replacement of its products. The warranty is limited to the exchange of the product only, and only after the manufacturer’s inspection of the defect .No other warranty is hereby given or implied. SP Performance does not accept or assume any liability from damages resulting from errors, changes or improper installation of its products.

SP PERFORMANCE STREET PLUS BRAKE PADS

SP Performance will guaranty Street Plus Brake Pads, to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the life of the pad. This would include missing parts, broken or loose clips, etc. This warranty does not apply to normal wear, noise, or damage caused by negligence, lack of maintenance, accident, abnormal operations, or improper installation or service. SP Performance does not make any other warranty claims, either expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will SP Performance be liable for incident or consequential damages of any kind, whether such damages are claimed on account of breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, or strict product liability. This includes without limitation, damage to property, or other losses that may be incurred. The warranty registration must be filed within 30 days of purchase. If you have a return for warranty, call us for a return authorization. No returns will be accepted without having the authorization number on the outside of the box.
