Home > Installation/Warranty > Rotor Direction
We are often asked if there is a left or right rotor, or if they can be used for either side. We do machine our rotors to be directional where one is cut for the left side and one is cut for the right side. This is done to help pinwheel the heat, gasses, water, dust & debris away from the center of your braking system. This helps keep it running cooler, cleaner and more efficiently. The easiest way to describe the correct rotation of your rotors would be to locate the upper most slot and/or row of drilled holes, and make sure that it is pointing to, or sweeping towards the rear of your vehicle. Please follow the illustration below for further clarification of the placement for both the left/drivers side and right/passengers side of your vehicle.
