These rotors did not contain any installation tips and in my opinion, there should be recommended do's and dont's. During prep for install I sanded the paint/coating from the rotor brake pad contact surfaces to avoid fouling of my new pads. This sanding process was overall very easy,
I did run into an issue when using brake cleaner on the rotors to remove oily/greasy finger prints. The Brake Cleen actually stripped any paint that it came in contact with. I was extremely disappointed about this. It gives me concern about the longevity of this coating and makes me wonder if I should remove them and repaint all of them.
